The Lecce Group specializes in developing, constructing, and managing residential and commercial properties in New York’s Capital Region. Founded in 2017 by Lou Lecce, the boutique family run firm, handles all aspects of property development including land acquisition, municipal approvals, construction, and post-occupancy management.
For the last three decades, Lecce Group President and CEO Lou Lecce has played a pivotal behind the scenes role as an attorney shepherding construction projects through the approval process as set by local government planning and zoning boards. Building on those years of experiences and utilizing the knowledge learned while working as a construction laborer during his teenage years, Lecce has successfully mastered how to choreograph a project from concept to completion.
Lecce Group’s portfolio includes developing and owning 1769 Union Street in Niskayuna, the new home of Albany Medical Center’s multi-specialty, ambulatory, and EmUrgentCare facility; the construction and joint ownership of the new City Squire Ale House in Schenectady; and acting as the general contractor for the newly re-built Mario’s Restaurant in Niskayuna and several area private residences.
